The "Super Lawyer" rating reflects on the entire firm, because the accomplishments that permit a single attorney to attain that status are the kind of carreer achievements that can't be attained without the aid of a valuable team. Given the competitive climate of the Denver legal community, where the listings were first attained by the founding partners, coupled with the nature of the practice in which these listings were granted to them (general litigation), very few sole practitioners have made the grade. Indeed, the quality of the firm is judged under these circumstances every bit as much as the quality of the founding partner.
