Of Counsel In her of-counsel role with the firm, Janet Ross interacts regularly with Godfrey & Lapuyade to ensure that clients are actively and well represented. Ms. Ross' practice includes personal injury, insurance law, workers' compensation and business tort litigation. She has extensive experience in the management of catastrophic injury cases and has developed a national practice. Before joining the team at Godfrey & Lapuyade, P.C., in 2009, Ms. Ross served for several years as a named partner in the respected firm of Schleuter, Mahoney & Ross, P.C.. Janet has a deep understanding of medical disibility law and disability insurance coverage. She develops close relationships with clients and strives to foster a respectful and productive climate for the successful management of cases involving complex health-care issues, drawing on her experience and strength with complex medical issues, insurance law and personal injury litigation. Janet's social security disability and insurance experience enables her to coordinate benefits, manage primacy issues and subrogation rights, and formulate optimum strategies for the successful settlement of claims, including those claims in which special settlement considerations, such as trusts, structured settlements and other vehicles of claim resolution are necessary. Ms. Ross' strengths also include administrative law and regulatory issues relating to the administration of coverage benefits. She has represented parties in automobile accident, air crash, premises liability, product liability and employer liability cases, and she has developed an extensive background in the field of medicare and medicaid claim handling.
