Brett Godfrey has over 20 years of trial experience with a substantial scientific, medical and aviation background. He has served as lead counsel in more than 70 civil jury trials throughout the United States. He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell's Peer Review Rating System (the highest attorney rating available). He was listed by Denver's 5280 Magazine as a Top Colorado Super Lawyer (2006).

Mr. Godfrey's jury trial experience includes insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, lender liability, computer liability, criminal defense, civil rights, employment discrimination, product liability, premises liability and automobile cases in State and Federal Court. He also has substantial experience in NASD securities arbitrations and experience before the Securities and Exchange Commission. He was formerly a practicing chemical engineer. He has authored numerous published articles in various legal periodicals.

Mr. Godfrey is a former Officer, United States Air Force. He is experienced in aviation law. He is also an active, licensed pilot with multiengine and instrument ratings.

He is experienced in design of preventive measures relating to product liability.

He has testified as an expert witness in insurance bad faith and legal malpractice actions.

Mr Godfrey is experienced in natural resources law, and assisted in the research for the second edition of the Nutshell on Oil and Gas Law (2nd Edition).

He has served as lead appellate counsel in numerous cases establishing new law in State and Federal court. Mr. Godfrey is frequently a featured speaker at private and political engagements, and is often an invited lecturer at for-credit Continuing Legal Education seminars.
